Tour Championship 2018 - Embassy Suites Perimeter Center Review
/The year 2018 has been a wild ride for me! I would have never thought that a little instagram account would allow me to experience such amazing things. This year I was fortunate enough to attend several PGA Tour events (The Honda Classic, The US Open and The Memorial) so when the PGA Tour reached out to me about being one of the influencers on site for the Tour Championship I was all in!
As you know the Tour Championship is the last tournament of the season and it takes place at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, GA. This was also my first time ever visiting Atlanta so I was super excited to explore the city while I was in town.
When I was looking for a place to stay I reached out to the Embassy Suites in the Perimeter area and they agreed to host me for the duration of the event!

Have you ever stayed at an Embassy Suites Hotel? If your answer is no, you need to change that ASAP! Embassy Suites by Hilton is a chain of upscale all-suite hotels trademarked by Hilton Worldwide. With over 223 locations in six countries odds are that there is one wherever you are going next.
Some of my favorite things about staying at an Embassy suites are:
Complimentary breakfast: This isn’t your typical “free breakfast” buffet of stale bagels and old nasty fruit. At E.S. you can get made to order omelets and pancakes, fresh bacon, eggs, potatoes, oatmeal and much more! I can’t think of a better way start the day whenever I am about spend the entire day out at the golf course!
Complimentary Happy Hour: We all know the feeling of coming back to the hotel after a long day of playing tourist, walking a golf course, or working in a city that isn’t yours. A drink and snacks are the perfect pick me up to power you through that late afternoon slump!
Suites: They are called Embassy Suites for a reason! Every single room in the hotel is a suite, which means that you get a work/living/wet bar area (with a pull out couch and TV) separate from the bedroom that you will be sleeping in. This is also great for parents traveling with kids because you literally get two rooms for the price of one!
During the Tour Championship I stayed at the Embassy Suites Perimeter which is located in the Perimeter area of Atlanta, one of Atlanta's largest business districts, and one of the largest edge cities in the United States! Whether you are visiting Atlanta for fun or for business this location is extremely convenient (and walking distance to one of the largest malls in the area). Despite being over 20 miles away, getting to East Lake was a breeze since the hotel is only a couple minutes away from two of Atlanta's major freeways (G400 and I285). Downtown Atlanta and TopGolf were also super easy to get to from this location. It’s also worth mentioning that the hotel is only a 5 minute walk away from the MARTA system (the principal public transport operator in the Atlanta metropolitan area) so getting places with no car is also easy and convenient.
DISCLAIMER: Parking is including with your stay at this hotel. I can’t believe how many hotels will charge you extra to park your car on site! This can increase the cost of your stay by $25-40 a night! Thankfully you won’t have this problem at Embassy Suites Perimeter Center.
Currently the Embassy Suites Perimeter Center is undergoing a multimillion dollar renovation that will change and modernize the entire look of the place. Even though I thought this place was awesome already it’s going to look even better next year once the construction is finished. Check these before and after photos and judge for yourself! Can’t wait to be back next year to enjoy all these new modern features.
FUN FACT: If this place looks familiar is because the movie Spiderman Homecoming was shot at the Embassy Suites Perimeter Center!
Last but not least I have to give the staff a huge shoutout for the amazing customer service I received during my stay. Everyone that I met was incredibly friendly and also extremely efficient (seriously I have never been checked into a hotel so quickly in my life). Thanks to the staff at the Embassy Suites Perimeter area for making my stay in Atlanta so great! It really felt like home away from home. If you are planning a trip to Atlanta, I highly recommend that you stay here!
