Happy Golf Thanksgiving! (Golfsgiving)

It’s time to give Thanksgiving day a twist Fit Golfer Girl style. Golf is such a big part of all of our lives so why not have a little Golfsgiving in the blog today! We give thanks for many things, but we rarely give thanks for the golf related experiences that have shaped us into the golfers/person we are today. This my friends, is about to change. I asked YOU to tell me what golf related moments you are most thankful for and you guys delivered! Thanks for everyone who shared their experiences! It’s not too late to participate!  Leave your experiences in the comments below!

Hope you have a wonderful holiday with your loved ones! Happy Golfsgiving!

Oh man, so much to be thankful for. I'm just thankful for the game in golf in general if I'm having a good day or bad I always turn to the course to clear my mind. I've been playing golf since I was 3 and I attribute my outlook of life to the game of golf because in many ways a round of 18, is like life. You have your good shots and bad ones, but it's how you come back from those bad ones and keep moving forward.

@jennifernneville

I'm most thankful for all the lessons I've learned on the course that translate to my life off the course. All the experiences I've had through golf have not only brought some amazing people into my life but have also helped me learn about myself and grow as a person!

I am thankful for the physical ability to be active everyday. I never want to take my health for granted. I am thankful that I can do burpees, as much as I hate them. Grateful and thankful for my legs allowing me to walk and for my arms allowing me to swing. One day that may not exist, so today I AM THANKFUL!

@teambarba

Hi i would like to share the fact that im thankful that i get to do what i love for a living and the possibility of being in the golf course every day as some people for one reason or another are unable to move or even dream of playing golf.

@rodagolfer

A memory that I will never forget is when I holed out from 120 yards with a pitching wedge for an eagle at a par 4 many years ago back in Scotland at one of my favourite courses. I am thankful for the fact that I can still swing a club after a road traffic accident in 2012 that nearly cost me my life. Inow suffer from osteo arthritis all over because of it and I am even more thankful that I got back to single figures with my handicap.

We at Coates Golf are most thankful for you – the women in golf. Not only the impressive league of professionals within the LPGA, Symetra, and LET Tours who are increasing viewership of the sport with their perfected skills and athleticism, but also the everyday women who play for the friendship, the camaraderie, and the pure love of the game. We are thankful that you build each other up, that you encourage others to join you in this great sport, and that you are always looking to grow and improve your game. You are the reason we created Coates Golf, thank you.
